Recovering!

Well, I have officially become a bandster as of the 13th.  Overall the surgery went well.  My liver was still a bit large (although I had lost 44 pounds pre-op!!) so there was some abrasion against the liver...but the doc was able to do the surgery.  The first day was the worst, of course.  Now, other than feeling really exhausted after walking around, the main discomfort seems to come from the port area if i stretch too far.  Thanks to an OH friend (Lisa, my angel!) I stopped freaking out about that and am just being more careful.  I guess I'm just impatient to get through the healing!  hahahahahahaha!  But, I am so happy this part is done and look forward to the next step.  Thanks to those who have been so supportive!

Welcome to the losers bench!  Remember to sip, sip, sip, and walk, walk, walk.  Do what your doc says, shout out if you need any assistance.

Blessings,
Avis
